How should I consume Sea Moss Gel?
The best way to consume Sea Moss gel is in the morning on an empty stomach for optimal absorption. You can take it on its own or add it to smoothies, teas, or soups. We recommend consuming 1-2 tablespoons daily to enjoy its full range of health benefits.
What is the shelf life of Sea Moss Gels?
Raw Sea Moss gels should be consumed within 3-4 weeks and must be stored in the refrigerator at all times.
Fruit-infused Sea Moss gels are best consumed within 2 weeks due to the organic fruits and ingredients. If you won't finish your gel in time, you can freeze it.
Just make sure to transfer it from the glass mason jars to a safe, freezable container or ice cube trays before storing it in the freezer.
What is the texture of Sea Moss Gel?
The texture of our sea moss gels ranges from liquid-like to gel in formation. It’s normal to notice slight variations in texture from batch to batch due to the natural ingredients and the infusion of organic fruits with the sea moss.
How can I check if my sea moss gel is spoiled?
Visible mold or fuzzy spots are clear signs of spoilage, and if the taste becomes sour or off, it’s best not to consume it. Generally, our raw sea moss gel lasts about 3 to 4 weeks when refrigerated, so be cautious if it’s been stored longer. If you won't finish your gel in time, you can freeze it.
What is the ratio of sea moss gel contained in the jars?
Our sea moss gels are crafted in small batches, ensuring precise measurements for each jar. We use a carefully balanced ratio of 85% pure sea moss combined with 15% organic fruit, delivering a blend that maximizes both the natural benefits of sea moss and the flavour from the fruit infusion.
What is the difference between Gold and Purple Sea Moss Gel?
Gold Sea Moss Gel: Gold sea moss is the most commonly used type, with a milder, neutral taste. It is rich in essential minerals like iodine, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, making it great for overall health, including supporting immune function, digestion, and skin health.
Purple Sea Moss Gel: Purple sea moss has a slightly stronger, earthier flavor and contains more antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins, which are responsible for its rich purple color.
These antioxidants provide additional benefits, such as enhanced anti-inflammatory properties and protection against free radicals.
Both varieties are highly nutritious, but the purple version offers an extra boost of antioxidants, while the gold variety is lighter in flavour and is a great immune boost!
How do you prep and clean your sea moss?
We take great care in thoroughly cleaning our sea moss to ensure the highest quality and safety. Each batch is meticulously rinsed multiple times to remove any sand, salt, or debris, then soaked in fresh spring water to further cleanse and rehydrate the sea moss. Spring water is chosen for its natural minerals, which enhance the sea moss’s nutrient profile, complementing its health benefits. Additionally, we use sterilized glass jars for packaging, ensuring that your sea moss gel is stored in a clean and safe environment.
Our kitchen follows strict hygiene standards, and every step—from cleaning to preparation—is carried out in a sanitized space. We prioritize both cleanliness and quality, ensuring you receive fresh, pure sea moss gel in every jar.
